Bremer Zine Festival 2024

Fahrrad Edition

Auch dieses Jahr laden Kulturnetz e.V. und der Veranstaltungsort Städtische Galerie Bremen zur Teilnahme am Bremer Zine Festival 2024 ein.

Aussteller*innen aus Bremen, ganz Deutschland sowie internationale Comic-, Zine- und Heftmacher*innen zeigen an drei Tagen Bücher, Drucke, Karten, Klapp-, Falt-, Schau- und Lesearbeiten im Rahmen einer Messe. Neben dem Kennenlernen vieler individueller spannender Arbeiten, werden diese auch zum Verkauf angeboten.

Beim Festival sind sowohl einzelne Heftmacher*innen und Künstler*innen, als auch Gruppen, Kollektive und Kleinstverlage eingeladen auszustellen.

Wir freuen uns auch dieses Jahr die am Werdersee gelegene Städtische Galerie unseren Veranstaltungsort nennen zu können, für eine Messe mit über 70 Aussteller*innen.

Wie jedes Jahr haben wir ein spannendes Rahmenprogramm mit Lesungen, Vorträgen und Abendveranstaltungen.

Veranstaltungsorte für das Rahmenprogramm ist die im gleichen Gebäude befindliche Musiker Initiative Bremen.

Wir benötigen einen kurzen Infotext und mindestens 3 Bilder für die weitere PR zur Verwendung im Internet und auf Instagram sowie eure Kontaktdaten.

Nach Sichtung der Bewerbungen bekommen am 17. Juli (Notification Date) alle Bewerber*innen eine Rückmeldung per E-Mail. Die eingeladenen Aussteller*innen erhalten alle weiteren Informationen und ihnen wird eine Bankverbindung übermittelt. Sobald die Standgebühr eingegangen ist, gelten die Plätze als reserviert.

Das Bremer Zine Festival versteht sich als offener, inklusiver Raum. Rassismus, Sexismus, Antisemitismus, Homophobie, oder jegliche andere Form der Diskriminierung haben  keinen Platz.

Bremen Zine Festival 2024

Bicycle Edition

Kulturnetz e.V. and the venue „Städtische Galerie Bremen“ are pleased to invite DIY artists, graphic designers, comic artists and zine producers from Bremen and abroad to participate in the Bremen Zine Festival 2024.

The three-day festival is open to graphic and art zines, DIY comics and literary zines, as well as any other kind of text-based fanzine. We welcome individual artists, groups and collectives, as well as the micro-editors of you. And, of course, the broad field of fanzines, including music, film or political zines, is more than welcome.

The festival will ride under the theme bicycle this year.

With over 70 exhibitors the festival fair will take place at the „Städtische Galerie Bremen“ , right next to the „Werdersee“ in the Neustadt district of Bremen. Participants will present their zines, comics or other printed, drawn, folded or rolled-up works to the public and interested customers. 

During the festival there will be a cultural programme with readings, lectures and  other events. The venue for the supporting programme is the „Musikerinitiative Bremen“, in the same building.

Deadline for applications: 10th July 2024.

Applicants must submit a short information text and at least 3 images for further publicity, which may also be used on social media (including our website, Facebook and Instagram). You must also provide the name and contact details of the applicant (or at least one person who is part of an applicant collective).

Once the application period is closed, all applicants will receive an email on 17th July 2024 (Notification Date). Invited exhibitors and tablers will receive further information, including bank details to transfer the table fee. Once we have received the fee, the table booking will be finalised and a confirmation email will be sent.

The Bremen Zine Festival understands itself as an open, inclusive space.

No room for racism, sexism, homophobia, antisemitism or any other forms of discrimination.
