Kulturnetz e.V. and Städtische Galerie Bremen invite zinesters, comic artists, illustrators, micro-publishers, and DIY creatives from Bremen, across Germany, and beyond to be part of the 7th international Bremen Zine Festival!
This year’s theme is „Urban Natural Space / Urban Gardening“ — but, as always, we’re open to all kinds of zines: graphic, text-based, poetic, political, chaotic, comic, literary, musical, personal, and anything in between.
We welcome:
- Individual zinsters, artists and authors from any designation
- Small collectives & art groups as well as political and social activists
- Independent publishers & micro-editors
- First-timers and long-time zine lovers alike
The heart of the festival is our three-day zine fair at the Städtische Galerie Bremen, located by the Werdersee in the Neustadt district. Around 70 exhibitors will present their printed, folded, drawn, or photocopied treasures to an enthusiastic audience.
Alongside the fair, we’ll host a cultural program with readings, talks, screenings, performances during the festival.
